Humans have potential unlike any other species. Not necessarily in terms of greatness, but in the number of paths open to them. A newborn human is molded by the life they lead, and they grow up to mold their life in turn, along with the wider world. This balance makes each and every human surprisingly complicated. Humans have a common drive to see things through, whether it be them or their great grandchildren that does so.
